GA4, server-side tracking and consent set up properly, so you can trust your numbers.
What it is
Every marketing decision depends on the numbers. If your tracking is broken, missing or ignoring consent, you’re guessing.
We set up analytics and conversion tracking properly, make sure it respects your visitors’ choices and turn the data into reports you can act on.
Want to know which marketing actually brings sales? See Marketing analytics.
Who it’s for
Anyone who isn’t sure their numbers are right, whose ad platforms and GA4 tell different stories, who is launching a new website, or who is worried about cookie rules.
What we set up
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): events, conversions and reports set up around your business.
- Tag management and server-side tagging: all your tags in one organised place, with server-side tagging where it improves data quality and control.
- Consent Mode v2 and your cookie banner: so Google’s tags follow each visitor’s choice.
- Meta Conversions API and other platform connections: conversion data sent from your server as well as the browser, only for visitors who have agreed to advertising.
- Reporting dashboards: one view of leads, sales and cost across channels. For bigger dashboards, see Dashboards.

- Setup: GA4, tags, server-side tagging, consent and platform connections.
- Management: monitoring, and fixes when your site or platforms change.
- Documentation: a tracking plan your team can follow.

Done properly
- It isn’t just cookies: the ICO’s guidance on storage and access technologies (final version, 29 April 2026) covers tracking pixels, fingerprinting, web storage, scripts, tags and link decoration.
- Some analytics no longer need prior consent: since the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, analytics used only to improve your service (and storage for appearance, functionality, security or emergency help) can run without consent first. Visitors must still be told clearly and offered a simple, free way to opt out, and the data can’t be used for advertising or profiling.
- Advertising tags still need consent: Meta, Google Ads and other advertising pixels and remarketing tags need consent before they run. A tag that mixes exempt and advertising purposes needs consent unless the purposes are separated. Consent Mode v2, the Conversions API and server-side setups must respect this.
- The stakes are higher: maximum PECR fines rose from £500,000 to £17.5m or 4% of worldwide turnover, whichever is higher.
Questions
Do we need a cookie banner?
If you use advertising pixels or remarketing tags, yes: they need consent first. Some analytics used only to improve your site can now run without prior consent, as long as visitors are told and can opt out easily. We check what your site uses and set it up to match.
What is server-side tagging, and do we need it?
It sends tracking data through a server you control instead of straight from the visitor’s browser to each platform. That gives you more control over what’s shared. We recommend it where the gain is worth the setup.
Why don’t Google Ads, Meta and GA4 agree?
Each counts in its own way, with different time windows and rules. We set tracking up so the gaps are as small as possible, and explain the rest.
Is Consent Mode v2 enough on its own?
No. It passes visitors’ choices to Google’s tags, but you still need a proper consent banner and the right setup for every other tag on your site.
